Yacht Connections International offers a truly unforgettable special yacht wedding or civil union package. Nothing can rival the magic of exchanging vows on a private yacht on the incomparable San Francisco Bay. The California Spirit is the perfect venue for your wedding ceremony or reception, with breathtaking views of the San Francisco skyline, Golden Gate Bridge and Marin Hills providing the backdrop.

The elegant yacht features a custom-designed private bridal suite, where the bridal party may board an hour beforehand to get ready. The wedding can be performed on the exterior deck or indoors. A gourmet seasonal dinner is freshly prepared on board and served on a setting of fine linen tablecloths, china and crystal. After the complementary champagne toast, guests adjourn to the Upper Salon to celebrate.

YCI Charters can help with every detail from providing the linens and place settings, to food and drink, photography, entertainment, audio/visual, flowers, and even cakes. YCI Charters has close relationships with the best wedding vendors, and can use their connections ensure you have a flawless wedding and reception. A cruise director will be on board to make certain everything goes smoothly. And, of course, the captain of the ship is available to perform the ceremony.

Yacht Connections International owner Marti McMahon has been hosting unforgettable weddings aboard her various yachts for over 30 years, so when she became engaged to Dr. Stephen Diamond, she knew right away where she wanted to hold the wedding. The 100’ California Spirit is a yacht she built years ago and refurbished in 2011. Married on Valentine’s Day, they cruised San Francisco Bay into their future together with family and friends.
