YCI is not only very easy to work with and responsive, but they are also very professional and friendly. Once on-board the boat, it’s 5-star service with top-notch food and handmade cocktails. Amazing Ahi taco appetizers, gorgeous Mediterranean spread with fresh veggies (and not just your typical veggie platter – fresh asparagus and many others too!), beautiful fresh fruit platter, delicious hummus, yummy Flatbreads, super cute Chinese chicken salads in little to-go Chinese food boxes, mushroom sushi (for my vegan guests)….everything was delicious and it was easy to provide options for the various dietary restrictions of my guests. They freshly squeezed limes for our margaritas too!

I looked at other boats and California Spirit is, by far, the nicest. Definitely tour their two boats if you are considering renting a boat for any reason. Originally, I was a little concerned that my group was only 30 people and that the boat was so big, but it was perfect! The 3 hours on the bay goes by way too fast; everyone wished we had more time.

Signature Buffets

We always recommend our Signature Buffets so that guests can enjoy the views of San Francisco – with a seated meal they don’t feel like they can move about to take photos.  At night they will have the opportunity to see Alcatraz a glow, going under the Golden Gate bridge and the SF Skyline lit-up.  We don’t skimp on quality for the buffet, and actually add our house décor and action stations at no extra charge.

If your event requires a Seated Meal and/or your having a presentation, we suggest upgrading the 3 hr. min. cruise to 4 hrs. so that your guests don’t miss out on the World Famous San Francisco views. 

Yacht Connections Dining Capacities:

“California Spirit Yacht” – owner operated by Yacht Connections

–  130 standing receptions (your staff, and additional vendors need to be included in count) – Yachting Stations Only and passed appetizers. 
–   100 Flow Seating throughout two levels with cocktail tables and our custom Art Deco tables in the Main Salon

–   64 seated one level – Main Salon – “Casual Dining” our custom Art Deco tables do not require linens.

–   48  seated one level – Main Salon – “Formal Dining” – requiring chargers, multiple wine-glasses for pairing etc. – our custom Art Deco tables do not require linens but may be rented for an additional fee & rental min.
